Dallas (Texas) Police Dept. “Training Bulletin” advises officers to “collect the aircraft and controller” and book it into Property if found flying “in Downtown Dalls and around Love Field due to their class B airspace designation.”
“Furthermore,” the bulletin continues, “per Texas State law HB 912 it is illegal to photograph property with a drone without the expressed [sic] consent of the owner of that property.”
It’s unclear whether this “bulletin” is real — it’s issued by the Dallas Police “Academy” (not the “Department”), and the supposed “Class B designation” almost certainly doesn’t apply to hobby drones.

But “HB 912” does in fact related to “images captured by unmanned aircraft and other images and recordings” and “provides penalties” for infractions. It went into effect 1 September 2013.
